Easter Soaps

Here are some things I've been toying around with recently with the upcoming holiday as a little cutsie inspiration.

First up is a Bunny Globe soap. I used the same globe mold as I did when I made the Aquarium soaps. I adhered some soap shapes that I pre-made to the inside of the globe. Suspending the bunny toy inside. And filled the globe up with clear soap to which I added a little glimmer. Due to the glimmer, you can just make out the bunny. I scented it with fruit slices fragrance oil. The collage shows the soap globe at different angles. And there's one photo of it wrapped up in cellophane.

Next up are soaps using a 'duck pond' mold. The duck toys have bunny ears on. I layered the soap in the mold using various shades of blue. On the top of the duck pond, I shredded and curled some white soap and then filled around it with clear so the shreds would stick. I left these unscented but the soap itself smells a bit fruity so there you have it. The collage shows a pic with the bunny ducks wrapped up in cellophane. These are really cute. The girls keep wanting to hold them.
